The idea of Church Militant was conceived shortly after Michael Voris’ return to the Catholic faith in 2004. He saw an increasing crisis in the Church due to weak clergy, poor teaching on doctrine and indifferent laity. Michael took his 20 years of award winning broadcast journalism experience and began an apostolate dedicated to helping resurrect the faith lives of Catholics through digital media. The apostolate, which began with the production of one weekly show, has grown through the grace of God into a formidable internet Catholic resource with well over one million visits a month and has attracted international attention from major secular media.
